Hi friends! It’s been a while since I posted my last article. But I’m back! Today we will talk about one of the most famous American TV series: Friends. I’m sure most of you have seen (or at least have heard about) this one. So, let’s get started!In the First Season, Episode 22, Phoebe is looking for some short-term work. Chandler mentions that his secretary is going to be out for two weeks, and agrees to let Phoebe come work for him. Things don’t go well – Phoebe reveals to Chandler that his co-workers hate him, because of his recent promotion. They even make fun of him, and here’s the phrase she actually uses: “They even do you”.In this case, the verb “do” means “perform (a particular role, song, etc.) or imitate (a particular person) in order to entertain people”. So what Phoebe is saying is that Chandler’s co-workers imitate him.

Nice post!! People could release whole dictionaries explaining the countless possibilities of usage of the word do in English.
Just something I’d like to say: The most famous American tv series is Seinfeld with Friends running up. That’s unarguable!
