O True or False das Lendas Urbanas

True or FalseHoje eu gostaria de propor um teste. O objetivo é avaliar se seus conhecimentos de Inglês estão em dia e também se você consegue diferenciar um fato estranho de uma lenda urbana. Existem coisas que a gente ouve por aí e acredita cegamente que seja verdade, por exemplo: “A muralha da China é o único feito humano que pode ser visto do espaço”. Será que essa informação é verídica? Antes que eu comece a dar muitas dicas vamos logo às perguntas. Tudo em Inglês é claro!

2. We use only 10 per cent of our brains. True or False ?
3. Hair and fingernails continue to grow after death. True or False ?
4. Water boiled in a microwave oven can explode. True or False ?
5. The water in swimming pools often contains a special chemical that can expose urine. True or False ?

    Eu realmente removi o tradutor. Você acha que eu deveria colocá-lo na página novamente? Vc já viu o tradutor do Answers? É só dar dois cliques na palavra que vc quer. Teste agora, escolha alguma palavra aí na página e clique duas vezes sobre ela.

    Seguem abaixo as respostas. Confira para ver se você acertou.

    1. The Great Wall of China is the only man-made object visible from space. True or False ?
    Well, I don’t even know if we can see the Great Walls of China from space. But If we can see the Great walls, so I think we can see that constructions made in Dubai and others…The thing is, from where (how high) are looking? 300 km? 500? 1000?

    2. We use only 10 per cent of our brains. True or False ?
    False…(I think).

    3. Hair and fingernails continue to grow after death. True or False ?
    False. our hair and fingernails don’t continue to grow after death. Our skin retract around them (I saw in CSI!!).

    4. Water boiled in a microwave oven can explode. True or False ?
    I think it’s false….

    5. The water in swimming pools often contains a special chemical that can expose urine. True or False ?
    I never heard about. But, It would be very intersting if it exist.
