Dicas para se dar bem nas Provas de Certificação (TOEFL, IELTS)

O professor canadense de Inglês, Steve Ford, nos dá esta semana algumas dicas muito úteis para aqueles que estão se preparando para fazer provas tal como TOEFL, IELTS, Michigan, Cambridge e TOEIC.

Desenvolvendo pontos de correção na fala e na escrita, Steve nos mostra que é o aluno que se torna capaz de identificar de seus próprios erros e, consequentemente, eliminá-los. Isso pode ser constatado no exemplo do successo do seu aluno Flávio, um brasileiro de Vitoria, ES, que fez preparação intensiva com o professor Steve para sua prova de IELTS, realizada este ano em Belo Horizonte. Usando as dicas do Steve, Flávio conseguiu atingir a nota que precisava e agora está se preparando para se imigrar para o Canadá. Importante ressaltar que o aluno não tinha conseguido atingir a média exigida na sua primeira tentativa, antes de começar as suas aulas com o Steve.

1. Singular vs plural

2. Word form
a) She sang beautifully at the concert.
b) She sang beautiful at the concert.

3. Word choice
a) I don’t think I will have time to do the test.
b) I don’t think I will have time to make the homework.

4. Verb tense
a) I am married since 2005.
b) I have been married since 2005.

    Hmmm…vou tentar, amanhã vejo o resultado.

    Porque se é “She” o “s” faz parte.

    2. Word form
    a) She sang beautifully at the concert.
    Fui pelo Português… sei que não devo fazer isso… mas foi a solução.

    3. Word choice
    a) I don’t think I will have time to do the test.
    Acredito que “Make the homework” esteja errado.

    4. Verb tense
    b) I have been married since 2005.
    Na 4. que realmente a dúvida foi maior.
    Acredito que a B esteja certa.Devido o “since 2005″.Em Português as suas ficariam corretas.
