Demitido por causa do inglês
Hoje quero falar para aqueles que têm medo de falar inglês, que só arriscam alguma coisa quando estão sozinhos, na frente do professor ou quanto tem certeza absoluta. O resto do tempo passam protegidos pela velha desculpa “eu não sei falar” ou “o meu inglês é péssimo”.
Fica a minha dica, erre o máximo agora, só assim haverá aprendizado. Chegará um dia que você não terá essa preciosa chance, aí o trabalho de uma vida inteira poderá ser jogado no ralo.

Hi Lucas, really the change of ideas here is very interesting and really necessary to improve our English. Don’t take that as an insult, it’s that I don’t get to hear the opposite: that the girl says “dvertisement” and Mr. Justus, “advertising.” Make quite so, listen with the help of ear phones, maybe you hear details that otherwise you would not hear and later comment on here, furthermore, show the video to others that you know who speaks English and listen what they say. With regard to Justus to make a mistake or not, I sincerely don’t believe that he has made a mistake in this case, because he works with that: advertisement, and he has branch of his company in the United States, although who speaks another language commits mistakes, no matter how fluent it is. I didn’t say that he doesn’t ever make a mistake and yes that didn’t in this specific case, I believe in that. The quality of the audio of this video is not of the best, what really harms the “listening”, because I showed the some people of my course, there were people that heard several times for reaching a conclusion, but with ear phones it’s easier to hear the details, because all were unanimous that Justus said “dvertisement” and she, “advertising.” I also thank to your comment and your disagreement, because that shows that you don’t accept everything that people present you passively, you discuss it, you’ve critical census, people like this are more intelligent. I am also like this, I only accept when they convince me through concrete proofs. Sorry if I’ve made some mistakes, because I make some and I accept that others correct me, it’s good to improve my English. I hope that helps
Don’t you worry Adriano, there’s any reason for taking this as an insult.
I will listen/watch to that (again) using the phones, as you suggested, as well as I will invite other people to do the same.
Regarding the native speakers, they are no able sometimes to understand what we, Brazilians, are able to understand (yes, in English). As an example, I have once had a British English teacher who was not able to understand some English lyrics and I could not believe my ears when he said that to me.
But then, I realized that sometime in the past, I had the same kind of difficulties in understanding some Djavan’s beautiful songs even in my native Portuguese language. So, the bottom line is, even native speakers are not a guarantee that everything is going to be understood in a language.
I have any problems in being corrected. But listen, if I believe in something, you really have to prove me you’re right (or I’m wrong). Once I realize I’m wrong, that’s great, this means that I have learnt another lesson. That’s the way I see things in life.
Don’t think I’m not going to give so easily. :o)

Eu admiro muito o Roberto não so por ele ser um grande empresário e bla bla bla mas é que ele age com muito profissionalismo e se a pessoa não for boa para o cargo ele demite msm. Muita gente pode chama-lo de carrasco mas a vida real é assim não é um fairy tale. Felizmente pois só assim podemos nos tornar mais fortes a cada dia!
