I agree with João´s comment that the interview with Burti could have been done in English, though still very useful for our users that are beginners. I also agree with what Burti has mentioned in his interview about the fluency. I did listen a lot of English while I was studying here at IBEU here in Fortaleza, Ceará, Brazil and today I am the Program Coordinator for an American University that promotes educational exchange program here. I work daily with American students who experiencing the Brazilian culture and I am able to communicate with them without worry about my accent and I´ve never been to US or any other country. I did learn English here and they always ask me where did I go t learn it.

Dois aspectos relevantes nesta entrevista :

1° – “E incentive os seus filhos, sobrinhos, afilhados e etc. para aprenderem desde cedo porque para a criança é muito mais fácil. Hoje o inglês já é muito importante, mas daqui alguns anos será uma obrigação”

2° Qdo. perguntado :
‘Você acredita que é possível aprender inglês por conta própria via internet?

Acredito que sim, principalmente o básico para você falar o necessário E SE COMUNICAR. “

I´m a F1 fan too and I liked very much this interview, but I agree with the others about the idiom of the interviews, must be English, certainly this will estimulate everybody to understand the dialogues.

Massa essa iniciativa de entrevistas aqui no Blog Alessandro. Seria interessante também entrevistar aquele especialista em futebol americano ( esqueci o nome dele hehe) da esportv já que esse esporte é praticamente tudo em inglês e ele jogou muito tempo por lá, nos Estados Unidos.

Thanks for this INTERVIEW !!! It´s very good know how some people had developed english and motivate me a lot!! Maybe you can put more interviews on the site !!!

And I can know if some one understand the comunications on the radio during the F1 racer´s, because I think very dificult!!

Alessandro, congratulations on the interview with Luciano Burti. But I’d like to say something: it’d be great if the interview had been done in English. After all, this is a blog for learners of English, right? I suggest this firmly. And you could translate the more difficult words or expressions in parentheses in order to help the lower-level learners. What do you think? The more contact, the more learning, right?
