Curso de Inglês para Tímidos: Lição 02
Caros leitores! Não poderia iniciar a segunda parte do curso de inglês para tímidos sem antes agradecer as mais de 1000 participações que tivemos na Lição 1. Não imaginávamos tamanha aceitação nem nas nossas previsões mais otimistas. Isso nos motiva ainda mais a continuar com este trabalho e tentar melhorar a cada dia. Muitíssimo obrigado.
Na primeira lição aprendemos como perguntar e dizer o nome, profissão, idade e de onde somos. Hoje temos dois assuntos muito úteis: o tempo e a rotina diária.
Rotina Diária
Vejamos algumas atividades comuns do dia-a-dia:
Get up – levantar-se
Take a shower – tomar banho
Have breakfast – tomar café da manhã
Go to school – ir à escola
Go to work – ir para o trabalho
Have lunch – almoçar
Have a snack – fazer um lanche
Get off work – sair do trabalho
Go home – ir para casa
Have dinner – jantar
Watch TV – assistir TV
Go to sleep – ir dormir

O Tempo
Agora preste atenção a algumas formas de expressar o tempo:
7.00 – seven o’clock
7.05 – seven-oh-five
7.15 – seven-fifteen / a quarter past seven
7.30 – seven-thirty / half past seven
7.45 – seven-forty-five / a quarter to eight
Lembre-se, com as horas usamos sempre a preposição at. Confira os links abaixo para aprender um pouco mais sobre as horas:
A tarefa de hoje é a seguinte, responda em que horas você faz as atividades diárias. Veja um exemplo:
What time do you get up? – Que horas você acorda?
I get up at 6.30. – Eu acordo às 6.30.

1. What time do you get up?
I have to get up at around 6:20 a.m. (twenty past six) on monday, wednesday and friday… on tuesday and thursday I may to sleep until 8 a.m. (eight o’clock) :D.
6. What time do you have lunch?
I have lunch usually around midday.
8. What time do you get off work?
I get off work usually about 6 p.m. (six o’clock)

My daily routine
I get up at Five o’clock early in the morning, because I have a lot of things to do during my day.
First I make my be, tidy my room and go to the bathroom to brush my tooth and take a shower.
At half past six I have breakfast and watch the news on TV. I get dressed and leave home. I go to the bus station. When my bus arrive I get on it and at seven o’clock I go to work.
At a quarter to twelve I have lunch and then I go back to work again.
At three o’clock I have a snack.
When I finished my work at half pas six , I wait for my bus get on it and get off it on my stop and go home.
At half past eight I have dinner with my husband and we watch TV.
After dinner, I play on my computer or listen to music.
At eleven o’clock I go to bed and pray to be alive because I like my life.

I get up at seven o’clock.
What time do you take a shower?
I take a shower at seven-fifteen.
What time do you have breakfast?
I have breakfast at seven-forty-five.
What time do you watch TV?
I don’t watch TV.

I take a shower at six-forty-five.
What time do you have lunch?
I have the luch at eleven-oh-five.
