Na lição de hoje vamos aprender a utilizar os advérbios de frequência. Calma, não fique assustado (a), não vamos estudar aquela gramática chata, vamos aplicá-la. Só para relembrar, os advérbios de frequência servem para indicar quantas vezes fazemos algo.
Always (sempre)
Usually (geralmente)
Generally (geralmente)
Sometimes (às vezes)
Seldom (raramente)
Rarely (raramente)
Hardly ever (quase nunca)
Para perguntar a frequência de alguma atividade usamos a estrutura:
How often do you… (Com qual frequência você …?)
O advérbio vai entre o sujeito e o verbo:
I always ride my bike in the afternoon. (Eu sempre ando de bicicleta à tarde.)
Porém, quando usamos o verbo to be ou algum outro verbo modal (can, could, may, might, should, must) o advérbio vem depois do verbo:
You should never study the night before a test. (Você nunca deveria estudar na noite anterior a uma prova.)
