Olá Pessoal,

Depois de ver “shy” e “embarrassed” sendo usado com o gerúndio,vi também com “to”(shy to,embarrassed to).Fiz uma pesquisa em sites estrangeiros e econtrei nativos do idioma usando estas.Li também que o uso de “to” pode implicar em não se fazer aquilo que está sendo mencionado por “vergonha”.Vejam exemplos usados por nativos em artigos:
1.”I would say that I’m shy talking about personal matters, but not the business.’’

2.”I’m not embarrassed talking about money and earnings.”

End-of-year: another option is “Year-end”

About the “shy/embarrassed + gerund”, it sounded weird to me, too… By the way, I would say “I’m ashamed of dancing”…

Hi there, Donay! Congratulations on the list! I’d just like to ask you about the sentences “I’m shy dancing” and “I’m embarrassed talking about it.” I find these gerunds after adjectives strange. Could you say something about it? I’ve always seen infinitives after gerunds, such as “She’s lucky to be alive”. Thanks in advance.
