Hi Steve,

I’m Brazilian and I live and work in Amsterdam. I use English every day in my work and I’m a sales rep. in a multinational. I have problem sometimes when talking in the phone with people from the US/UK. I tried many different kinds of course to make my pronounciaition get better, but I still feel it’s not good. Do you have suggestions how to improve my pronounciatiuon?

I would like to know in which cases I use these relatives pronouns: “who”,”which”, “that”and “whose”. Is there a specific rule to use them?

I would like to know why in English in a sentence like ” Eu gosto daqui” we have to say “I like IT here” and not “I like here”.
Why do we use “it” ?

Hi! Dear Steve, I very much thought of the how interesting your aid is for all the members in this page, first, again i ‘d like to congratulate you for this wonderful work you have been doing for all of us.
I enjoyed a lot these false friends, or false meanings into english.
I must to admit, that the most of them, i didn’t figureout that they existed and now i have a good overlook about them.
Well! In a nut shel, i would like to ask you, which countries are they used? I mean, i guess, the most of them are used in the USA, Canada and England, but i need to know about false meanings, or false friends and the countries that they are used, for instance, these ones are used in England and these other ones are used in the United States, or whether the most of them are used in both countries.

também gostária de saber mais sobre particularidades do Inglês Canadense!Quais expressões e usos são próprios do Canadá e não são usados no Inglês americano e no britânico!Enfim gostaria de conhecer mais o Inglês Canadense,se este se assemelha mais ao britânico ou americano etc!Um grande agraço
