Olá pessoal,
O substantivo "news" é considerado um substantivo singular.Deve se usar "much" e nao "many".Vejam alguns contextos:
#I didn´t get much news.
#There isn´t much news of the event.
Obs:Em contextos afirmativos é mais comum usarmos "a lot of" no lugar de "much"
Ex:The reporter has a lot of news.
Ex:There is a lot of news on tv.
Obs:Nunca diga " a news" o artigo "a" nao pode ser usado antes de "news".Esse topico sobre o substantivo "news" tem sido cobrado nos vestibulares há muitos anos.
