Nesse caso existem muitas opções,vou fazer uso do verbo frasal(fall apart),cair aos pedaços,desmoronar:
Exemplos:
a)Things fell apart when he told her about it.(Tudo veio abaixo,a casa caiu quando ele contou a ela.)
b)It may fall apart if you´re not careful.(A casa pode cair se você não tomar cuidado.)
