Como dizer "Água doce","Água potável" em inglês

Agua Doce refers to fresh, or clean water that you can drink. In the USA in many states you can drink the water from the sink without a filter. In the USA you could say ' could I have some (tap) water? ' In many places to eat they will ask if you would like tap water or bottled water, in the USA both are safe to drink when offered.

So, why everybody buy mineral water?

Tap water may not be pure and will contain bacteria in some areas so some people buy bottled water!!
