Hi,

Sei que existe um tópico sobre festa de formatura- graduation party.
Mas o que eu gostaria de saber é como se diz o termo específico que tenho ouvido inúmeras vezes em séries e filmes da TV, não sei qual é, mas se fala mais ou menos assim.... prump, promp...parece que essa palavra é bem epecífica quando tem um baile de formatura de colégio nos EUA.
Se alguém souber agradeço.

acredito que a palavra prom é utilizada para festa de formatura do ensino médio (high school) e também college (ensino superior).

Também existe a palavra ball para baile, veja a definição:
