Hi anita
Oxford Escolar sugeriu "conductor" (mas esse não deveria ser o motorista?).
Macmillan confirma: é o cobrador mesmo "someone on a train, bus, etc. who checks passengers’ tickets and collects money".
Que coisa, né?

Bus conductor
Another more colloquial word, although "ticket collector" is a perfectly good term:
"Ticket taker", for someone on a bus, or possibly at a concert or sporting event collecting tickets
"Bus driver" for motorista... For England "conductor" sounds very UK English to me, but I can't confirm if that is the most common usage. In the US, conductor is commonly used for someone who collects tickets or drives a train and almost never for a bus driver (motorista) or bus ticket taker. I've actually almost never (maybe never at all) seen a separate person collecting tickets or money on a bus in the US, it's always been the bus driver.

Likewise in Toronto (and probably throughout Canada), there are no turnstiles or fare collectors in buses or streetcars. You deposit your payment in a glass case by the driver, as you come in, and he merely checks to see if the correct amount of money, paper ticket or token has been deposited, and then flips a handle for the item to fall into a safety box underneath. In Toronto, bus drivers don't even make change or sell passes, tickets or tokens: it's up to you to bring the correct amount with you (or overpay), or to have bought your ticket or token ahead of time.
There's another term for you: fare collector.

Ticket operator
Example:
April 25th, 9 pm. Beijing’s final Number 4 bus takes off from the central station. Passenger Ms. Shun has been taking Bus 4 since 1979, today she hugs and says goodbye to Ms. Zhao, the ticket operator that she’s known for 30 years.
