Hi guys,
How can I say the following in English?

Agnes,

I was wide awake at plain 3am.
Or should I use other words/prepositions?
Obrigada!!!

Agnes, natives are not going to understand "plain 3:00 AM". I know of no equivalent in English.
I awoke at 3:00 A.M. sharp. (at exactly 3:00 A.M.)
I awoke at 3:00 A.M. on the dot. (at exactly 3:00 A.M.)
I awoke at around 3:00 A.M.. (at more or less 3:00 A.M.)

Hi guys,
Silvia, I liked "in the middle third of the morning". but I´ve never seen it used. Is it common to say it or is it just a way to translate into what I need, but natives don´t use it?
Thomas and Daniel, I guess the ways you´ve mentioned are not quite what I´m looking for. Sharp, on the dot and other synonyms give me the idea of punctuality, and that´s not exactly my intention. I´d like to say that 3 am or so is an absurd moment to be wide awake, what people don´t usually do. It´s a kind of a shock to be awake at this time, you know?
Am I too confusing??? hihihi
Thanks!!!!

Hi there!
you are totally right! And please let me rectify that one!
Those expressions convey and idea of punctuality. So far nothing has come to mind though I'd like to suggest something a bit creative. Maybe you should try to say something like
I was wide awake in the unholy 3 am in the morning
Take care,
Daniel

Pessoal,
I was awake in the middle of the night.
I was awake in the dead of night.
ambas tem o mesmo sentido?

Olá flávia,
I was awake in dead of the night.
You are dead right!
