I'm practicing my grammar on the Livemocha, I wanna know if my sentences are right?

The woman isn't tall. She is small. ( A mulher não é alta. Ela é pequena )
The man isn't handsome. He is very ugly. ( O homen não é bonito. Ele é muito feio )
The boy isn't fast. He is a bit slow. ( O garoto não é rapido, Ele é um pouco lento )
She is a very smart girl. I like very her, but she eats a lot. ( Ela é uma garota muito inteligente. Eu gosto muito dela, mas ela come muito )
I'm not rich nor poor. I'm very curious. I'm thin and tall. ( Eu não sou rico nem pobre. Eu sou muito curioso. Eu sou magro e alto.
You are a cool guy. My best friend. You aren't fast. ( Você é um cara legal. Meu melhor amigo. Você não é rapido )

My sentences are right?

"I like very her" achei estranho isso, eu diria "I like her so much"

I really like her./I like her very much.
I´m not rich or poor./I´m neither rich nor poor.
