É um texto simples, queria a ajuda de vocês, tenho dificuldade com tempos verbais, como usá-los corretamente...sei que é muito básico mas estou tentando escrever textos pequenos pra melhorar...obrigada!
Alguém poderia me dizer como eu escreveria "acertei no sal" ?
Cooking rice
I’m learning how to cook. I have to confess, It’s being hard. I’ve never cooked before. One day, I tried to cook rice and I made it! Ok, the taste wasn’t that good, but It was better than I expected. My biggest mistake was putting too much salt on it. Another day, I tried again. That time, I put the right quantity of salt, but I put so much water. I’m gonna try again and again. I think I’m going to improve with the tries. Thanks for patience.

Trial and error: a method of discovery, solving problems, etc., based on practical experiment and experience rather than on theory. Ex.: he learned to cook by trial and error. - Thefreedictionary
''And the one good thing about the BBC is that it gives weak shows plenty of opportunity to improve by trial and error.'' - BBC

Para mim, a forma mais natural é "I must confess it's been".
