Hi there!

I was looking for some informations in how to make a good résumé to Canadians. I'm going to apply for a temporary job in Canada and I would like to know some tips in how to write a good résumé to this country.

I found very few information about Canadian résumés...

For example, they say that, in American résumés, it's not a good thing to put your picture in it, but, is it valid in Canada too? Those are the tips I would like to have. What information should and shouldn't be in the Canadians résumés?

There`s nothing particularly different between American and Canadian resumés.

I have one more question: when it comes to the address, what format should I use? (The Brazilian format or the U.S. format ?)

I found different opinions about it. Some people say I should use the Brazilian address format because I live in Brazil. Others say I should choose the U.S. format, because I'm writing the resumé in English...

Which one should I choose?

É possível identificar seu endereço mesmo se escrito em padrão brasileiro. Algumas empresas até recomendam que seja feito dessa forma. Quem se corresponder com vc deverá apenas ter o cuidado de destacar "BRAZIL" no final do endereço.

O padrão de endereços oriental, por exemplo, é bastante diferente do nosso e também dos americanos, por isso adota-se o padrão local, destacando-se sempre o país para que as empresas de entrega possam idenficar com mais facilidade.
