Olá gente, eu poderia usar tanto uma como a outra para dizer, fim,final?

ja vi as duas sendo usadas, gostaria de saber se tem alguma diferença.

tem a musica do the Doors que se chama "the end"- O fim

e uma da Avril Lavigne que chama " my happy ending"- meu final feliz,

Olá Murilo,

Na minha opinião,a diferença mais relevante é o fato de "Ending" frequentemente se referir a "desfecho"(final) de um evento,história,atividade,etc.

Ex:The movie has a happy ending.(O filme tem um final feliz.)

Guys, then now I don't get why they write "the end" in the ending of a movie, for example...

"The End" = short for This is the end (Este é o fim)?

Native speakers of English use the article before End, whereas native speakers of Portuguese won't before Fim. Native speakers of French also use an article before Fin. Like this: "La Fin". I didn't check whether native speakers of German use an article in the German counterpart.
