Adriano,

Being a diplomat is a worthy goal and career, and I wish you all the luck in this endeavor. If you will allow me I would like to help in a very small way by suggesting changes in your posts to reflect how an American might write. In this vein I would like to suggest the following:

Ten years? Humm, that is enough time to finish college and begin the pursuit of my dream career as a diplomat, where I can help link people and nations.

We normally spell out numbers of ten or less, and if a number starts a sentence we always spell it out. Sometimes I will use three periods (...) to indicate a portion of a quote that I have omitted when editing, otherwise using three periods is not proper English.

I hope this helps your studies. Please let me know what you think and if I can be of any assistance.

I see myself, studying at Harvard University, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, doing a doctorate in Engineering, with an English fluency and a happy life! And I believe this dream will be realized!

May I offer a minor correction here?

You might have stated, "I hope to have two children when I marry." The sentence you wrote leads one to think you will want to "marry with" two children.

Good luck on your future life. :)

I could say "I hope to be married and to have two children"?

Yes. You've alternatively provided an unambiguous, gramatically correct sentence. :)

Well, I´m studying civil engineering at University of São Paulo and improving my English. I expect that in ten years time I´ll be an excellent engineer, with a good job and a powerfull English, I am doing my best, so for sure these desires will be a reality... apart from all I told so far, I also want to be married by this time...
