Inglês informal/coloquial para o inglês padrão
Há uma questão que caiu no ENEM que não entendi patavinas. Se alguém pudesse passar a seguinte tirinha em inglês coloquial para o inglês formal, eu ficaria muito grato.

1ª: Aquele "Y'all" significa o quê?
2ª No segundo quadrinho, ele diz "May I suggest you avoid double negatives and don't forget to use an adverb!". Por quê que a frase está começando com o verbo modal "May I..." sendo que a oração não é interrogativa para colocar o verbo auxiliar ou modal na frente, mas sim exclamativa?
Y'all é uma contração para "You all".
"May I..." não é usado apenas para fazer pedidos(eu posso). Pode-se usar "may I..." para se fazer sugestões ou dizer algo ao outro, sem a interrogação. Veja um exemplo semelhante do Longman Dictionary.2ª No segundo quadrinho, ele diz "May I suggest you avoid double negatives and don't forget to use an adverb!". Por quê que a frase está começando com o verbo modal "May I..." sendo que a oração não é interrogativa para colocar o verbo auxiliar ou modal na frente, mas sim exclamativa?
May I suggest that you consider the matter further before taking any action.
May: in polite expressions spoken formal used to say, ask, or suggest something in a polite way.
