Fui traduzir a música da Adele, citada acima e no título já me enrolei. Achei que fosse "Rolando para as profundesas" mas, no próprio site da letra tem tbm a tradução que diz "Amando incondicionalmente" :s

Alguém pode me ajudar?

Mantenho minha primeira sugestão, mesmo após leitura da letra.

Rolando para as profundezas. Sugiro ainda "Indo para uma situação/lugar profundo

Quando você está "rolling in the deep", você está "igual pinto no lixo" de tão apaixonado por alguém. Desculpe a expressão chula e populesca, mas o sentido é esse mesmo. Alguém que não cabe em si de tão apaixonado, alguém que após começar um relacionamento com outra pessoa se esquece do mundo, literalmente. Caso encontrem outros similares em português brasileiro - que não "pinto no lixo" - e que mantenha esse sentido original de entrega total, é muito bem-vindo.

Aqui no Brasil, se um pinto está no lixo, aparentemente ele está feliz, porque tem comida, mas na verdade, ele está no lixo, algo muito ruim. A expressão passa essa ideia.

Claro, existem outros sentidos sexualizados para a expressão.

Olha, tem muita expressão nada a ver que se parece com ditados que conhecemos. E mesmo que esses ditados tenham versões similares em inglês, pelo menos nos EUA eles não são tão usados. Caíram em desuso. Sobre o "rolling in the deep", o bailarino no vídeo mostra isso, naquele pó branco.

"Amando incondicionalmente" não seria porque amor assim é do tipo de filho para seus pais. Talvez "Amando Enlouquecidamente".

Estava pesquisando sobre isso, bem não concordo com a tradução do vagalume; eu teria traduzido como "Afundando em desespero", ou algo assim.

It's an (...) adaptation of a kind of slang, slur phrase in the UK called 'roll deep,' which means to have someone, always have someone that has your back, and you're never on your own, if you're ever in trouble you've always got someone who's going to come and help you fight it or whatever like that. And that's how I felt in the relationship that the record's about, especially 'Rolling in the Deep.' That's how I felt, you know, I thought that's what I was always going to have, and um, it ended up not being the case.

A Adele tenta passar uma imagem de "fina" mas ela é bem bagaceira, o que é ótimo. AMO o fato de ela explicar tão bem algo que, de fato, é bem popular.
