Hi, everyone!

I´d like to know if I can use both on and about as synonymous, or does it depend on the verb?

E.g. I want to discuss on/about this topic.

"You´re going about it the wrong way." Vc está fazendo isso de maneira errada.

yeah, it depends on the verb. For instance: I've taken too much work on recently. we are just about to start. I find English prepositions very hard to get.

Mas, no seu exemplo, não há necessidade de nenhuma preposição:

"I want to discuss this topic."

Yes, Henry, you´re right! I´ve just checked out about the verbs discuss... it´s not necessary to use any prepositions here....

By the way, I was reading a topic you wrote and you said : "I call him back in the next two days". In this case, is it necessary to use in??

Is my sentence right if I use on? Do they have the same meaning?

A preposição "on" é possível neste caso e tem o mesmo sentido.
