Hi,
I always though that there isn't a plural for word "people" because it
is already a plural word (ex: the people ARE dancing). But today, I
found (on Internet) a sentence with word "peoples" (with the 'S'
letter at the end). Initially, I thought it was a mistake, but then I
read this definition at Answers.com:
"pl. peo·ples. A body of persons sharing a common religion, culture,
language, or inherited condition of life".
If I correctly understand this issue, "peoples" isn't the plural of
"people". They are two plural words with little different meaning
between then. Am I right?
