Olá Pessoal,

Vejam quando é fundamental usarmos o 'present perfect':

1.Português:Eu trabalho lá há um ano.
Inglês(forma incorreta):I work there for a year.
Inglês(forma correta):I have worked there for a year.-->Present perfect

2.Português:Ela mora aqui desde 2007.
Inglês(forma incorreta):She lives here since 2007.
Inglês(forma correta):She has lived here since 2007.-->Present perfect

3.Português:Eles se conhecem há dez anos.
Inglês(forma incorreta):They know each other for ten years.
Inglês(forma correta):They have known each other for ten years.-->Present perfect

4.Português:Nós ajudamos eles há dois anos.
Inglês(forma incorreta):We help them for two years.
Inglês(forma correta):We have helped them for two years.-->Present perfect

Para ações que começaram e se extendem até o presente,em inglês o tempo adequado não é "simple present" mas sim "present perfect simple."

Mas, uma dúvida:

Qual é a diferença entre dizer "I have worked there for a year" e "I have been working there for a year"?
Será que no segundo caso é para enfatizer que a ação se extende até o futuro?
