Olá, aos amantes de cinema como eu...
gostaria muito de compartilhar filmes que eu amo e que me ajudaram bastante a entender o inglês falado com diversos sotaques diferentes...
Será muito bom saber o que você curte...
Lançamentos, novidades e bons trailers são bem vindos!
Assim como críticas em inglês, se você estiver afim...
Aos poucos vou adicionando movies que me ajudaram a praticar pronúncia logo que cheguei nos EUA e que me ajudaram na volta ao Brasil...
Eles podem ser ótimas ferramentas para exercitar sua compreensão, o que ajuda bastante em várias saias justas pelo mundo...
Os meus alunos adoram e usam regularmente as indicações de vídeos e filmes para estimular o estudo do idioma!

Este ainda nem saiu, mas vai uma prévia... adoro as vozes e o jeito de falar inglês do Jake e da Anne...

O filme que indico, por ser o melhor que assisti há algum tempo, é "Príncipe da Pérsia"/Prince of Persia.

"Long ago in a land far away, there once rose an empire that stretched from the steppes of China to the shores of the Mediterranean. That empire was Persia. Fierce in battle, wise in victory. Where the Persian sword went, order followed. The Persian king, Sharaman, ruled with his brother, Nizam, upon the principles of loyalty and brotherhood."

Assistam Enrolados da Disney (original=Tangled), a história em 3D da Rapunzel, muito divertido ^-^
NÃO assistam Skyline - A Invasão, se superou, o pior filme de todos os tempos!!!!!
Ambos ainda estão nos cinemas..

Um filme seria meio difícil de citar, são poucas as vezes que eu assisto sem legenda. Alguns dos que eu traduzi do áudio ou de uma legenda base (o que invariavelmente me ajudou em alguma parte do Inglês) são:

- RED (Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich);
- Charlie Valentine (de gângster, muito bom);
- Inhale (foi o meu trabalho, o que mais me ajudou, porque foi do áudio e tinha umas partes naquele Inglês mexicanizado, sabe, chato de entender).

My favorite movie is "Good Will Hunting" starring Matt Damon in the lead role of Will Hunting, with Ben Affleck as Will's best friend and Robin Williams as Will's psychologist and also the last chance for Will to avoid prison. Will Hunting is a math genius who works as a university janitor and spends his free time in fights and in bars with his close friends. This movie is an exciting and touching drama about life, love and friendship. Good Will Hunting was nominated for many awards winning The Academy Award for best Supporting Actor Robin Williams, The Academy Award for Best Writing/Original Screenplay (Ben Affleck and Matt Damon) and The Golden Globe Award for Best Screenplay - Motion Picture (Ben Affleck and Matt Damon). Certainly the best choice if you like strong and unforgettable movies.

Last weekend I watched "Miss Potter" a british movie about Beatrix Potter's life. The dialogues are pretty simple and light and I bet if you are a student at intermediate level you'll be able to watch this movie without subtitles.

Eu sugiro ainda os infantis...

Nemo, Monsters Inc., Cars, Toy Story e vários outros animados...

Tem ainda clássicos como Mágico de Oz, Pequeno Príncipe e Tarzan...

A linguagem é fácil com frases claras que prendem a atenção. Sem falar, que nos fazem muito bem!

But I'm mostly take an keen interest in French films, perhaps is better to say, the less comercial films...they don't need to be French, actually.
Anyway, my Oscar goes to
"The Diving Bell and the Butterfly" by Julian Schnabel



"Oscar and The Lady in Pink" by Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt.

Both are very moving and and rather heart touching films...so, you may cry hehe. But they're worth seeing.

"The Wave" by Dennis Gansel - this one is based on a true story that happened in a american university in the 80's. I was taking aback by that one.It's really good! Although is a German film I reckon you can get it in a video rental with English subtitles.
