"To lie" tem outro significado?
Eu encontrei a seguinte frase em um vídeo "Because our destiny lies above us." que traduzida seria algo como "Porque o nosso destine está/se encontra acima de nós." o problema é quanto a palavra "lies" que deriva do verbo "to lie" cujo único significado que eu conheço é mentir, teria o verbo "to lie" outro sentido ou faria ele parte de uma phrasal verb com o sentido de estar/se encontrar em algum lugar?

9. Archaic To stay for a night or short while.
And here as a noun:
1. The manner or position in which something is situated.
2. A haunt or hiding place of an animal.
