"The seed of Abraham" seriam seus netos, bisnetos, tataranetos etc., enquanto "Abraham's offspring" seriam seus filhos.

Night.
Dan, the Bible was written by to and for Jews, with an historical background add to this the fact that the first English translation was that KJV (King James Version), so it had passed through the Greek/Roman (Latin)-German language "filters" to get finally translated into English.
So, the language of scholars and religious of old.
Recently they re-edited in some parts to fit modern use of the language, without
losing meaning.

To illustrate that take this verse:
Psalm 37:25

King James Version (KJV)

I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

Psalm 37:25

English Standard Version (ESV)

I have been young, and now am old,
yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken
or his children begging for bread.

Thus you jump to the conclusion (by analogy) that "his seed" means ''his offspring/his children (sons and daughters)/his descendants/his heir(s) etc"

I think they're used synonymously:

Genesis 3:15

English Standard Version (ESV)

15 I will put enmity between you and the woman,
and between your offspring[a] and her offspring;
he shall bruise your head,
and you shall bruise his heel.”

Genesis 3:15

New King James Version (NKJV)

15 And I will put enmity
Between you and the woman,
And between your seed and her Seed;
He shall bruise your head,
And you shall bruise His heel.”

Yes, that´s right.
Caro Dan,
