Hi Tina. Here are a few suggestions:

Early into the learning process I found ways to innovate in my current range of tasks. The knowledge that I have acquired / gained has provided me with ways to understand more complex activities, as well as opportunities to perform different roles, helping colleagues who have limited familiarity with the computer and the system tools used.

Note:

I took the liberty of changing "activity levels" to "activities" because it felt just slightly redundant to me. If you feel it may have changed the original intended meaning, feel free to change it back.
