Perhaps it´s the "overall feel" of the music, once you get it you have the rhythmic phrase (of the music), the main rhythm to go by.

I think it is at the downbeat.
You have to play the G note at the downbeat and the A note at the upbeat.
Você deve tocar a nota sol no tempo e a nota lá no contratempo.
