This seems to be a literal meaning in the use of the expression. But I guess you can put on in another occasion. Just not sure though...
Everybody was talking about how a working place used to be the main core for lunatic people and no matter what, everybody were still forced to work like crazy, despite all the craziness already going around. Wonder if "craziness with peaches" sums up that vibe at all.
