Yesterday's strong wind unroofed/removed the cover of my house.
The wind yesterday was so strong that it unroofed/removed the cover of my house

Examples:

Juliana, I also saw "untile" but I just forgot what "tile" was. So, would it be correct to say: The strong wind untiled our roof.

Hi Gabriel,

While grammatically correct, "the strong wind untiled our roof" doesn't seem to be the most common, natural-sounding phrasing in this particular case. I suspect "untile" tends to be favored when referring to the manual removal of tiles from a roof. Google seems to concur.
