Como dizer "Praticar uma ação" em inglês

Olá, amigos

Como seria a equivalência em inglês para a expressão "praticar uma boa ação". E ainda, como se diria simplesmente "praticar/executar uma ação"?

Hi there!

Sugestão:

"Good deeds" ;)
You do good deeds.

  • ''Every sentence contains, at minimum, a subject and an action. The subject is the person or thing the sentence is about, and the action is what the subject is doing. When a sentence is in active voice, the subject is doing the action and the subject typically comes before the action in the sentence.'' [grammar.yourdictionary.com]
  • ''Jesus says not to show off when you give, when you make a visit, when you help somebody across the street, when you do a kind deed.'' [Raymond Barbe - Don't Look Now, But Your Religion Is Showing]
  • ''A daughter who was left £2,000 by her dying father and a note which said 'do something good' has used the money to set up a charity which has helped 10,000 African entrepreneurs.'' [Dailymail.co.uk]
Bons estudos. Compartilhe.

The saying, “one good deed* deserves another” does not mean that you repay the good deed to the person who did a good deed to you; it means you do a good deed to another person and that way the good deed grows and multiplies.

Here’s a video example of “one good deed deserves another.” https://www.facebook.com/10432585963355 ... nref=story It’s filmed in Red Bank, NJ.

*It’s more common in the US to say “good deed”, “good turn” may be more common in the UK
