We have a cultural problem! Yes, there is a way to say "Eu uso calças cara" (Buddy, I wear the pants around here. Pal, I wear the pants in this family." However, the expression is used to mean "My wife is not my boss. I am a real man."
In the context above, I would expect "I drink like a man" or "I want a man's drink". After such a macho statement, I would not expect to hear "please".
