Qual a diferença entre Turned Out e Turned Off?

Hi there! Estou com dúvida no significado de Turned Out/Off.
Suponho que Turned Out seja APAGOU e Turned Off DESLIGOU, mas não tenho certeza, pois não achei nada sobre.

"Turned out" is generally used with the meaning of "acabou que, acabou sendo''/acabou por ser/se revelou/se mostrou, etc.
But it can be used also with that meaning of turning something light off. Thus, meaning also "desligar".
