Só me vem à cabeça agora estas:
Give somebody a hard/rough time.
--> "...Novak gave the Spaniard a hard/rough time".
Give somebody a hard/rough time.
--> "...Novak gave the Spaniard a hard/rough time".

This victory comes at the right time as we prepare to face Ajax Cape Town, who are yet to taste defeat in the league this season - and this presents a new but yet attainable target. - Rafael Nadal remains bullish about Wimbledon despite Queen’s failure. A second-round match against Fernando Verdasco, who gave him such a tough time [deu um suador daqueles nele] over five sets in the quarter-final at Wimbledon.

"... to watch Durant pick apart a team that gave him a rough time in the Playoffs last season ..."
