Como saber qual gramática estudar através de um texto solto
Olá, pessoal! Resolvi readaptar meu modo de estudo para ficar mais leve!
Antes de tudo vou explicar o método que estudo:
1º - Leio um texto (lição)
2º - Estudo as palavras novas (colocando em inglês e Português)
3º - Faço a gramática da lição
4º - Estudo memorizando/aprendendo as palavras
5º - Formo frases.
É mais ou menos essa sequencia, porém como disse anteriormente estou readaptando e não ficando presa somente a lições. Alguns dias da semana vou basear em notícias, cursos, palestras, músicas, séries etc. Só que surgiu uma dúvida, como estudar gramática (saber o que estudar) com base na música, texto etc do que estou estudando? Como vocês estudam?
Obrigada!
Atenciosamente,
Liliane de Souza Lima

These days we have a range of books (and textbooks) that have an index at the end.
These indexes (pointers where relevant content is to be found), are cross-references on the book and points to where a given term can found out throughout the book´s chapters.
Just to cite two of them here, the Gramática Prática -Michaelis and the Cambridge Grammar of English, A Comprehensive Guide - Spoken and Written English Grammar and Usage [Cambridge Press], the latter to more advanced learners.
So, by way of example, the word "about" goes like this:
about 164, 235b 253b
--adjectives followed by 5g
--as adverb 5b
--be about to 5c, 376, 404a
--common spoken uses of 5d
--nouns followed by 5e
--discuss, not used with 5f
--as preposition 5a
--verbs followed by 5f
Where the numbers 164, 235, 253 are the chapters the related topics are, and the letters are the subtopics (eg. 5 f), the divisions that deals with different meanings or uses within topics.
Of course, one would study some item when in doubt about something related with the "entry word" about, it wouldn't be necessary to see all subtopics in there (when somebody master the usage of a sense of the word).

I would suggest you to get a "light" grammar, there are one little book that Michaellis "Pequena Gramática de Inglês", then you can use the "Essential English Grammar" or other from Cambridge Press (preferably with answer keys).
At first, what I have to say is, try to alternate videos, movies, etc with study of grammar. It´s a fact that grammar doesn´t go much hand in hand with spoken English, so you have to alternate between them. By spoken English I mean non-written and informal English.
There are also some books aimed to conversational skills, many of them have grammar points.
