How do I get there? ou How I get there?
Olá, pessoal! Alguém poderia me ajudar? Estou em dúvida quanto ao uso correto do verbo "do" e "get".
Gostaria de saber qual das frases está correta ou incorreta e o porquê:
- How I get there
- How can I get there
- How do I get there
Thanks!

Hullo =)
Tanto ''How do I get there?'' e ''How can I get there?'' estão corretas, pode usar as duas frases.
Mas ''How I get there?'' está errado porque não tem nenhum auxiliar e esse tipo de pergunta tem que ter o auxiliar(do,can etc..) Okay? então não escreva desse jeito.
So, You may say either ''How Do I get there? '' or ''How can I get there?''
Any doubt you can ask me

In "how do I get there?" you are making a question in the way books teach, and in writing academically it will be acceptable.
How I get there? wouldn´t be standard written English, but in informal spoken English it can be used.
Plus, in "how do I get there" do is the auxiliary verb to make the question with the verb (in this case "get"). Whereas in "How can I get there?" is another kind of question, since can is a modal verb (and modal verbs make you dispense with the auxiliar verb to make questions).
As an aside note, "How do I get there" may have a slight difference in meaning (como eu chego lá?) to "how can I get there?" (como eu chego lá/como é que eu chego lá?)
Granted, sometimes (e.g. asking directions) they mean one and the same thing, but is not always this way.
