Olá Nat,

Get lost = Se perder

Ex:They got lost in the jungle.(Eles se perderam na selva.)

That´s all folks!
Esses dias eu queria dizer, no game de corrida q eu estava jogando que eu me perdi na curva.Mas não sabia como. Posso usar Got lost também?
Lembrando que a expressão "Get lost!" significa também "some daqui!/desapareça!".

Anderson, "se perder na curva" could mean a lot of things to my thinking. Some examples to illustrate it:

I was overtaken (got past) as I was turning the bend (the other car gained ground on me).

I tried to travel on the kerb and it send me wide open (on the other side) and other car overtook me.

[there are several kinds of kerbs, depending on the track, etc. Some would make the car unsettle, others would make it go wide (F1 wise), in other kinds of race sports, it could even make the car fly a bit, or even flip! ]

I tried to go through the kerb and lost grip, that allowed the other pilot overtake me.

Usually a kerb geometry slow down the car, it works as a "penalty" to the "smart" pilot.

To the normal driver, the next sentences could be likely:

I swerved to the inside of the curve/I couldn´t stay on the right side of the road/crossed the center line etc (or went off road, or almost, if it´s the inverse parabola).
