It´s very curious this particular translation of the verb "to want" ...its looks like the act of suffering a kind of privation of something, is it right?
Does this verb have an everyday use?

Olá, há muito tempo não respondo nem comento nada aqui mas gosto muito do english expert
existe várias versões de tradução da Bíblia e portanto, muita formas de dizer "O Senhor é meu Pastor e nada me faltará".
examples:
Lord is my Sheppard, I lack nothing.
Lord is my Sheppard, I shall lack nothing.
If Lord is my Sheppard, I have everything I need.
Lord is my Sheppard, I shall want nothing.
Lord is my Sheppard, I don't lack anything.
Lord is my Sheppard, I shall need nothing.
bye bye

Very nice examples, Genildo.

Esta frase é é meio egoística... é meu... eu ... Deveria ser:
Lord is our Sheppard, we shall lack nothing.
