Here's a Latin based variant:

Indignant remarks; an indignant expression on his face.

They felt indignant at receiving such a small reward.

*Adding:

to be/get ticked off = ficar indignado (por algo que escutou), to get angry

→Examples:
Kristie was ticked off at Matt because of the things he said to her last week.

The stereotypes of being Chinese still haunt us wherever we go. We openly and consistently get ticked off when we hear that we eat dogs or speak horrible English.

Daniel, você pode fazer uso de "indignation" para dizer "indignação" em inglês também. A diferença? A meu ver, "outrage" é um pouco mais enfático.

Outra opção seria:

Appalled

offended or shocked very much by something, because it is extremely unpleasant or bad
appalled to see/hear/find/discover etc.:

She was appalled to hear that her husband had been arrested.
appalled at/by:

I was appalled by his arrogant attitude.
appalled (that):

I’m appalled that a doctor would behave like that.

Outra forma:

I understand your frustration.
