Olá pessoal, não sei se isso já foi perguntado no Fórum (eu não achei)...
Enfim, qual a diferença entre "TROUBLE e PROBLEM" seus usos e diferenças.

ambos vêm a ser sinonimos, tem pouca diferença no significado.
eu tenho em mim que trouble quer dizer mais no sentido de dificuldades.

1.Trouble:Problema,dificuldade,situação complicada,etc.
a.I have trouble driving.(Eu tenho dificuldade para dirigir.)
b.We had a lot of trouble with it.(Tivemos muito(s) problema(s) com isto.)
c.She was in trouble.(Ela estava em apuros,numa situação complicada.)


2.Problem:Problema,dificuldade(s)
a.I have problems driving.(Eu tenho dificuldade para dirigir.)
b.We had a lot of problems with it.(Tivemos muitos problemas com isto.)

*"Trouble" costuma ser mais frequente no singular,"problem" não faz distinção,porém há de se ficar atento quando se deve ou não usar a forma no plural ou singular.

Trouble é alguma coisa que poderia ter acontecido.
Problem é alguma coisa que ja aconteceu.

Trouble é utilizado quando se trata de um problema "cotidiano", com pouca importância.
Problem já é um problema maior, com grandes proporções.

I think than 'Problem' is used in situation more formal and "mais ampla". Whereas 'Trouble' express "apuros, aprontar" and "dificuldades" like Donay said.

For example (e.g):

Problem
1. I have a math problem.
2. It's not my problem.
3. I have a big problem with my brother.

Trouble
1. I often have trouble in my school.
2. I have back trouble. (dor na coluna)
3. In this moment, I have money trouble.

You can have a troubling problem, but you can't have a problematic trouble.

And although not all problems are troubling, most troubles are probably problematic.

So to have a problem may not be a big thing, but to be troubled probably is [a big thing].

A problem you solve, a trouble you __________ [what?]. I don't know.

I think there are several other ways of saying the same thing.

If you have too much trouble in solving a problem you may go nuts or have a mental breakdown and go insane.

In Maths there are 6 problems unsolved till today and a lot of mathematicians really went crazy having trouble trying to solve them. We have great unsolved problems too: environment, foods, drugs, health, politics, religion, etc.

We´d better sing Rihanna´s "Live Your Life" and... carpe diem.
