It´s fine, but I would like to add just one little comment, Mari.

In general, when there´s congratulations in a sentence, it comes along with the preposition "on" [or "for'' , if you mean some achievement. And "to'' (in a very few cases)].

So:
I deserve (some) congratulations on this work, don´t I ?


Don´t I deserve some congrations for my feat as well? it´s not everyday that someone sails from Natal to Fernando de Noronha just windsurfing!

Obviously, if you are in a conversation and it´s explicit that you have done something worth some praise, then just "congratulations" as in "So, don´t I deserve congratulations?" would do (since it´s implicit that you mean "So, don´t I deserve congratulations for what I have done?"
