Tomorrow the 28th of August marks the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington and Martin Luther King, Jr.'s landmark "I Have a Dream" speech.

This short excerpt is one of the most recognized portions of a speech that is considered one of the most memorable and important in American history:
"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."
Is there a Brazilian civil rights activist who has had such an important impact on equal rights for minorities in Brazil as MLK has had in the U.S.?
