In this case the expression "out of it" stands for "from it", and as such behaves as a unit:

Get what you can out of it. = Get out of it what you can.
He came out of it looking good. = He looked good coming out of it.

So in this case it makes sense to keep all the elements.

I agree with Henry . The sentence "He must have done all right out of it.", does not make sense in English and he gave you good example of how to use out of it.
