A repetição do uso do "in the" em inglês

Olá, pessoal,
No meu curso de inglês online, a professora falou que iria apresentar alguns exemplos de contrações do verbo to be na forma interrogativa e na forma negativa e ela falou o seguinte:

"Let's see now some examples of contractions of the verb to be in the affirmative and negative form"

Minha dúvida é: por que ela não falou "in the affirmative and in the negative form"?

Veja o exemplo abaixo:

Incorrect: Let's see now some examples of contractions of the verb to be in the affirmative form and in the negative form.

Incorrect: Let's see now some examples of contractions of the verb to be in the affirmative and in the negative form.

Correct: Let's see now some examples of contractions of the verb to be in the affirmative and negative form.

Com isso, tornamos a comunicação mais sucinta, uma vez que os dois substantivos requerem as mesmas preposições. O que deve ser evitado seria uma situação, nas quais os substantivos são precedidos por preposições diferentes. Veja a seguir:

Incorrect: The baby flung spaghetti strands on the walls. The baby flung spaghetti strands on the counters. The baby flung spaghetti strands under the table.

Incorrect: The baby flung spaghetti strands on the walls, the counters, and under the table.

Correct: The baby flung spaghetti strands on the walls, on the counters, and under the table.

Os primeiros dois elementos requerem a preposição on, mas o último elemento requer a preposição under. Portanto, é necessário repetir todas as três preposições junto com os artigos ao combinar os elementos em uma estrutura de frase paralela.

Na língua inglesa chamamos esse estudo de parallel structure, parallel construction or just parallelism (with prepositional phrases).

Espero ter ajudado :)
Bons estudos!

"na forma afirmativa e na forma negativa"
Em português poderia se dizer "Na forma afirmativa e negativa" sem prejuízo do entendimento. Da mesma forma pode-se omitir o "in the" (e até o "na forma") subsequente e o leitor vai deduzir. Isso é comum.
Thank you all of you for answering it! <3 <3 <3

Hi Nessa, right now I don't remember exactly what topic would your question fall under. But I think parallelism (parallel structures) would be something to go by.
Words that are repeated in close proximity or paralell structures can sometimes be left out.
