A Voz Ativa em Inglês

Eu estou com dúvida em relação a voz ativa! Eu entendo que o foco é de quem comete a ação, porém, gramaticamente não entendo a estrutura active subject+verb+object. O verbo pode se encontrar em diferentes estruturas, como eu vou saber em qual estrutura usa-lo? Vai depender da interpretação do texto? Alguém pode tirar minha dúvida, por favor!! Dê exemplos

She loves her grandchildren. (Voz Ativa) >> Her grandchildren are loved by her. (Voz Passiva)
Mary invited me. (Voz Ativa) >> I was invited by Mary. (Voz Passiva)
Somebody will change it. (Voz Ativa) >> It will be changed. (Voz Passiva)
We are investigating the case. (Voz Ativa) >> The case is being investigated by us. (Voz Passiva)
John and Anna choose it. (Voz Ativa) >> It is chosen by John and Anna. (Voz Passiva)
They won the championship. (Voz Ativa) >> The championship was won by them. (Voz Passiva)
I sang the song. (Voz Ativa) >> The song was sung by me. (Voz Passiva)
You will assess the students. (Voz Ativa) >> The students will be assessed by you. (Voz Passiva)

Note que a voz ativa não tem o verbo to be.
