ACT/SAT/TOEFL - Exames

Have anyone ever taken TOEFL, ACT or SAT? If so, how does it work? What do they ask you to write on the essay? What's the difference among their essay and what should I be worried about?

Nunca fiz o teste, mas como ninguém respondeu, aqui vai o ponta-pé inicial (my kick-off).

Notei que é preciso disciplina (estou falando do ACT/SAT aqui), o teste de redação sendo feito em um tempo cronometrado (nada que com um cronômetro e treino não se consiga).
É bom que se note que há a necessidade de se "aclimatar'' aos termos (pelo menos os básicos) de Matemática e Ciências.

For example, the following practice test, seems to me as being almost a version of our ENEM, and it would be necessary to the student a measure of acquaintance with terms and notions from Mathematics and Science, such as:
percentage/growing (Math)
volcanic eruption, etc/DNA (Science)

Anyway, it´s being a multiple choice test, it´s not the end of the world, though.

The SAT from that first reference, states that one wrong answer takes off one point of your score. Whereas the following informs that it´s a quarter of a point. Well, it´s advisable to clarify these points before taking the test, since there are changes from year to year.
Anyway, this is an incentive not to get your answers wrong! or to get the most of answers right... So, it seems more challenging than the ACT a little bit.
