Como se diz em inglês que uma pessoa não entende nada de política, que é totalmente alienada?

Some related concepts are "clueless about/naive about" (a given subject), a person that doesn't know the first thing about (something).
But sometimes in a polarized world, one person will say that about the other and vice versa.
There is also the "politically ignorant", a term referring to people that go about their lives, raising kids, the mortgage, the parents, work, family, etc, and don't give any thought to politics, other than casting the ballot (sometimes in an ill-informed way).
In time: the expression "politically alienated" would mean people averse, or not willing to join any party. Political alienation is the opposite of what politicians want a citizen to do or to be.
