Antes de "eight" deve-se usar a ou an?

Preciso escrever isso: "I am a/an 8-yrs-experienced web designer..." Fiquei na dúvida se antes do número 8 usa-se a ou an.

Answer: I am an eight-year experienced web designer.
Anyway, I believe it is a little bit odd to say that.
The adjective experienced could denotate something else, for example, "you have endured / suffered something to acquire such knowledge".
In order to avoid doublespeak or pretentious language, I would rather say:
- I am a web designer with eight years of experience.
- I acquired eight years of experience during my last jobs.

Agradeço pelas respostas. Sobre usar o termo "experienced", o sentido implícito é esse mesmo, porque eu já sofri um bocado na mão de gente que não merecia o meu esforço, então o termo é experienced mesmo, porque sou experiente não só no meu trabalho mas em passar por situações das mais desagradáveis e ingratas possíveis. Enfim, obrigado novamente!
